You might have already passed your AKT and CSA or might need to still need to take these exams and pass them. Either way it is important that you ensure all the required evidence is in your e-portfolio in time for your ARCP review in June.
Review your ePortfolio to make sure that you have all the evidence required. Some common crucifix areas that can provide problems: Curriculum coverage should not have any headings without evidence. PDP must have items entered within the last 6 months of training so they can form part of next year s NHS appraisal. All DOPS or mini-CEX must have been supervised by someone of appropriate seniority. If a trainee must be ST4 or above. A CSR is required from every hospital post. Sufficient e-portfolio entries to demonstrate competence in Child Safeguarding Sufficient e-portfolio entries crucifix to demonstrate competence in Child Safeguarding
Please remember that the ePortfolio must have all the evidence for the WHOLE of your training programme and not just ST3. So, if a WPBA has accidentally been omitted in ST1 this will need to be completed. This must be carried out before the end of the training programme. There must also be a full complement of evidence for the final ST3 year.
May Arrange your final ESR with your ES. This should be done in good time so that the PD can check the ESR. The deadline is 22 nd If you are still waiting for exam results (AKT results 28 th May CSA results 2 nd June) but all other aspects of your ePortfolio demonstrates Competence for Licensing you can still go ahead with this review but you and your ES should not sign the ESR until you have the exam result. If you pass the exam(s) required it is then a simple matter of a few additional comments and sign the form. This should be done by the 5 th If you are not in a position to be recommended a CCT, either because of the exam results or WPBA has shown that you are not yet Competent for Licensing , then the ESR should reflect the reasons for not meeting the requirements, justify the reason for any possible additional training and have an educational plan. The ESR should be available crucifix by the 5 th
  120 days before your Revalidation Submission Deadline, you will receive a letter and email from the GMC informing you that you are Under Notice for Revalidation. As long as your Designated Body for Revalidation is identified on this letter as Health Education East Midlands (HEEM), then you do not need to do anything further at that point. If it is not, please contact the HEEM Assessments & Revalidation Team (contact crucifix details below).
  Prior to your final ARCP (i.e. between now and your ARCP), you will receive an email request crucifix from the HEEM Assessments & Revalidation team to complete and submit a Revalidation self-declaration. This form asks you to make self-declarations about significant events (please note definition on form), complaints and investigations. It is reviewed by the ARCP panel in conjunction with all your ePortfolio evidence and supervisor reports. Between your final ARCP and your Revalidation Submission Deadline, the Assessments & Revalidation Team will submit the Dean s recommendation about your fitness to practise to the GMC (either a positive recommendation, or a recommendation crucifix for a deferral of your submission date if a positive recommendation cannot be made). You will receive a letter about this from HEEM, and another a few days later from the GMC confirming what your new Revalidation Submission Deadline is. If you have been revalidated, the new date will be approximately 5 years from the last one. If you have had a deferral for whatever reason, the new date will be between 120 days and 365 days from the last one.
  If you receive a letter 10 days before your Revalidation Submission crucifix Deadline saying that a submission is still due from the Responsible Officer crucifix at your Designated Body, please contact crucifix the HEEM Assessment Revalidation Team promptly at revalidation@nhs.net or on 0115 823 3333 to ensure that your Revalidation is being processed.
