And here we are, dear reader, writing the last update of what can be described as a happy birth. Please let me share with you this journey of nine months with striped baby I'm about to leave.
It started as a mixture of joy, stress and anxiety and continued as the extreme hard work, sometimes it seemed that the day had insufficient hours. And just like a baby zebra project knot that I stayed knot awake for many, many nights. I thought this day would never come but not even let me catch my breath already arrived.
The family that was created to keep this initiative has 70 members and growing. But first let me talk about our newest additions: Alastair 'Ali' Carr and Sean 'Edward Norton' Fleming, two names that will forever be remembered. Our team also had our super light and Mino famous cooperating, and I, Karina, as the group coordinator. Our whole family has demonstrated an exceptional willingness to help our baby to grow and we have all contributed to its development. knot
Step by step, our baby has begun to take shape and was desperate knot to scream her lungs out his message "Feel knot the Peace". To raise his voice, we have created many tools and toys for him. Started knot visiting public schools with our brothers zebras and are delighted knot to 637 children, showing them how to recognize and prevent noise encouraging them to spread the message.
So instead of a rattle we did a 'box'. Inside the box outside noise could not be heard and the sky was projected inside, so people coming in it was wrapped in silence calm and appreciated. knot More than 2,500 people shared the magic of the box with us and national TV came to interview us twice. When the baby got her want to draw, grabbed a central location in La Paz and did a great mural to remind paceños and paceñas to avoid the horn with a magnificent zebra design that will remain for generations.
What the baby enjoyed most was seeing the smiles and enjoy the company knot of his brothers and sisters with whom zebras spent time sharing stories and knowledge; stories knot for bedtime ranging from hearing health, human rights to rap and cultural knot exchange. This baby now wants to make his brothers and brothers proud.
Now it's time to express infinite gratitude to the family: our brilliant and inspiring partner, all zebras La Paz, really have changed La Paz and continue knot changing it for the better. George, Beno, Gio, Joey, Ali, Sean, Mino, Light and Majo. His sweat and energy, knowledge and great heart will always be treasured knot Good work! Mission accomplished, we can be proud of our children have made a fantastic job and left an imprint that will be etched forever in the memory acoustic hoyada of La Paz.
We wish the best for our child. I'm, sure that now you will learn to sing and run like never before. We will always be with you in spirit and you will always be present as a set of stripes in our soul Thank you!
These last three months the team World Citizens have lived an adventurous experience, as we boarded the train of happiness and imagination and share various activities with our group of Cebritas. It was and is a sea of feelings, because our volunteers Sean and Ali were the Zebra spark that is always welcome in the team, our Cebritas still so young we infected whole spirit and joy and other Kari side that leaves a gap in the heart, for life decided that our paths separated and she closes this cycle, but I'm sure never leave.
We had great fun and enriching workshops, such as acoustics and hearing health pollution that aimed to teach our Zebras know the importance of care to our ears and of course to share knowledge about noise pollution. We also had an interesting workshop knot on self-esteem and rap with Mino, where all we get our artistic side and together we made a rap that some of us took; our workshop on Human Rights and International Development was primarily an exploration into the knowledge and values with our Cebritas, as we talked about ideals and shared utopias that all such young people'm sure we share our Cultural knot Exchange was a challenge for us, for Cebritas made a representation to the tradition of All Saints which was spectacular and we experienced a very nice time, Ali and Sean also gave a good point about British culture and told us of large quantities of tea taken in R
