Feliz Cumpleaños | guroilatinamerika
BBQ organized by Latin Americans. Sunday evening we would really like to eat, little to celebrate my birthday since it apparently was not done properly on the day itself, bachelorette party ideas but as the others had a scheme, only we were on the platform. There was a rumor that one should dress up, and when I tried to go out there we eat, I was just told to go away. Thus, as one might recognize that something bachelorette party ideas is happening.
Yet I had not at all expected that met me when we were eating. bachelorette party ideas All sang the birthday song in Spanish and Danish, the balloons hung on the walls and in the trees and in addition it was hung up greeting posters in Norwegian, Danish and Spanish. But it was very finest card I got. They had really put a lot into it, a picture of me + chocolate at the front pictures "here" inside, postcard and greeting bachelorette party ideas from "your friends from Honduras and El Salvador." It's touching words, especially when I've never talked to most of them, I know them not.
The next day, ie yesterday, it was one of the Latin American who had a birthday, which meant that I felt that I really ought to give something back. I mean, after what they did to me. Yet it was a bit difficult, for it is somehow wrong to buy something too. After some back and forth, fundraising and coordination ended with that I went out of the city along with two of the participants from Cambio Global, that Latin Americans, and Yunior, "teacher" here. Felt really bachelorette party ideas little that I was a small child who just came for, did not understand much of what they said, and when we got to the store where to buy a piñata (like with candy inside that one should turn on. Is very common in children's birthday parties here), the others had understood what I was going to pay anything. There I understood nothing of, for we had collected the money, bachelorette party ideas but I paid, and later I also left money of the other Danish, so we shared bachelorette party ideas it.
Furthermore, the city tour we visited the confectionery and various other shops, so it ended with cake, drinks, balloons and everything. The whole time I just went back and felt a little silly, but figured at least what the collected money would be used.
When evening came, we wondered bachelorette party ideas birthday boy, who was 20 years out, while we arranged the stand, hung up balloons and Piñata. And then, hush !, may all be quiet. Surprise Birthday. It was real funny how all sat and giggled while we waited, to see how happy Rolando was, but especially so with Piñata. Got to try yourself, and it's strange to just look wildly around him without seeing any others running around trying to get candy from Piñata.
Today we learned that it was the first time anyone had celebrated his birthday, he comes from a family that does not have the tradition. So even though there was loud music and partying for some all night and we woke up to vomit in the hallway this morning, I am glad that we did.
