The volume of housing construction in Ukraine in January 2014 increased by 0.3% compared with January 2013, while the total volume of construction works decreased by 16.4%, according to the State Statistics Service. The overall decline in the volume of work provoked a reduction in non-residential construction by 13.1%, to UAH 760.1 million in the construction of engineering structures - by 23.2%, to UAH 1,391,800,000.
The decline in construction work in January 2014 to January 2013 recorded baby photography in 13 areas of the ARC and in Kiev. The greatest decline over the period mentioned in the ARC - by 84%, to 72.7 million USD, and in the Chernivtsi region - by 49.2%, to 35.2 million baby photography USD, in Kiev, the reduction was 14.7%, to 534.2 million UAH.
The greatest growth in construction work in January 2014 to January 2013 recorded in Odessa - by 55.8%, to 157.6 million UAH, Kherson - by 39.4%, to 26.7 million USD, and Ivano-Frankivsk region - by 36.1%, to 46.6 million USD.
