Each week brings some new scenery and location for me that s just the way I like it. If you want to follow where I am real time then each Friday I will post 5 (7 this week!) bands of my Instagram photos from the current week.
Some weeks I may be traveling somewhere exotic, and some weeks it may be less interesting bands but it will give you a peek into my life of perpetual motion. This week I’m actually giving you a glimpse into my last 2 weeks of wild travel and the wild weather swings I encountered in the process. In less than two weeks I was in Turkey, NYC, Denver, and Minneapolis – which explains why I haven’t been able to sleep very well lately. I went from the sunny Mediterranean in Turkey to rainy NYC, then to brisk Denver, and finally to freezing cold Minneapolis! bands

What have you been up to lately?

It's no secret to those who know me that I love  instagram . I probably  abuse  use it way more than I should but I just can't help it. I love seeing snapshots of other people's lives and I love how it lets me share snippets of my life with those who follow me.  As a way to share a peak into the non couponing and cooking aspects of my life (and despite what this blog may imply there are lots), I am going to be doing occasional posts with images from my  instagram account  to let you all in on what I have been up to.
Side note: My instagram account is set to private which means you do have to request to follow me. This is only because I am a high school teacher who cannot have any students following me on social media. Since this is my personal instagram account I just have to keep myself protected. So as long as you aren't a high school student,  feel free to request to follow bridal shower me  and I will gladly approve you!

Each week brings some new scenery and location for me that s just the way I like it. If you want to follow where I am real time then on Friday junior seau I will post some of my Instagram photos from the current week. Some weeks I may be traveling junior seau somewhere exotic, and some weeks it may be less interesting but it will give you a peek into my life of perpetual motion.
I enjoyed my last week in Kauai to the fullest – by hiking! There are so many great trails in Kauai – but with all of the recent junior seau rain I really had to pick and choose junior seau carefully as the state of the trails were pretty grim. But thanks to the help of a few new local friends I met on the island – they directed me to some safe ones AND they also helped me with my photography! The owners from Kauai Adventure Photography Workshops took me out into the dense Kauai trails and caves to get some amazing shots. We mainly junior seau focused on DSLR photography, but we also did work on phone photography too. Patrick even introduced me to a great photo editing app for the Android – SnapSeed ( Android version & iTunes version ). I’m loving it and using it now on my Instagram shots!
Sadly this week my 4 weeks in Hawaii came to an end and I flew back to NYC and was greeted by snow. I’m having a real hard time adjusting to the change and am missing the Garden Isle and my muddy hiking terribly. But never fear – I’m not in NYC for long and soon will be heading to warmer climates again for more adventure and more Instagram junior seau photos. But until then – enjoy some of my Instagram shots of the Kauai hiking I did this week!
Nounou Mountain junior seau Trail East (Sleeping Giant Trail). Loved these super tall pine trees on our hike. They utilized them to make masts for sailing ships yrs ago. I adore how Hawaii surprises me all the time with unexpected terrain like this!

While I didn’t get to do any hiking when I went to Kauai, I did get to see the Napali Coast Line, making junior seau it my favorite island out of all the ones I visited. I love using snapseed! It really makes it easy for editing photos from your phone.

Charlie and I arrived in India to a bit of culture shock, but pretty quickly got into the swing of things on this day in history in this colorful, assault-to-the-senses country. We arrived early to get settled into India a bit before starting the Rickshaw Run on April 3rd. In true polar opposite India form we experienced wealth and poverty all in the same week as we stayed at some lovely 5 star hotels as well as simple budget accommodations. Each has it s advantages. The budget gets me much closer to the culture, but the luxury certainly provided a soft landing and a way to get through jet lag in style.
Thanks to our guide Janu , an old friend of Charlie s in Jaipur, we were taken care of incredibly well. We went to textile manufacturers, on this day in history temples, forts, elephant farms , and had amazing food. In addition Janu was our key to experiencing the colorful Hindu festival of Holi in Jaipur.
This week was full of adjustments. My body adjusted to the time change, on this day in history heat, and bacteria and my mind had to adjust to driving rules (or lack thereof), the availability of clean water, food spiciness, and the role of women. It s just another thing to love about travel testing out your flexibility and ability to adjust to any situation. I had my share of it this last week and a half in India! on this day in history And there s much more to come no doubt!
loving following along. Would love to see your shots from Holi as well!

Happy New Year! I rang in the New Year in Manhattan with friends and jello shots! However I started the week in Minnesota with family. I bid goodbye to my family this week, however I didn’t bid goodbye to the winter. In fact, it appears that the snow and ice followed me to the east coast this week. But snow, nor sleet, nor cold temps could dampen my time in NYC seeing friends!
Sherry says:
In California, we complain that it is too cold when there is frost on the ground. I can’t imagine your kind of cold. I’m headed to Quebec in February, so I will learn what cold feels like.
